MY PERFECT PLAYLIST (www.myperfectplaylist.co.uk) PRIVACY POLICY
You’re probably a bit fed up with every website directing you to their privacy policies but GDPR means that it’s a legal obligation for any EU company or organisation that collects any form of personal information. Whilst I’m only a DJ, even I have to comply so here’s all the boring bits you need to know about how I intend to use and store any personal information you provide to me and how I’m (obviously) committed to protecting your privacy.
PERSONAL DATA: The amount of detail you choose to provide about yourself is entirely up to you but obviously I’m unable to provide any quotes or contact you without, at the very least, your name and either an email address or telephone number. All details provided will only be used by me (Mark Roberts of “My Perfect Playlist”) in order to contact you regarding my service and by completing my contact form you agree for me to contact you for a period as long as necessary with regards to providing this service.
NON-PERSONAL DATA: In addition to the data you provide, we may also track information provided to us by your browser or when you view or use this website, such as the website you came from (known as the “referring URL”), the type of browser you use, the device from which you connected, the time and date of access, and other information that does not personally identify you. This information is used to provide general statistics regarding use of this website and for other business purposes and is tracked using cookies, or small text files which include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to a user’s browser from our servers and are stored on the user’s computer hard drive. Sending a cookie to a user’s browser enables the collection of Non-Personal Information about that user and keeping a record of the user’s preferences when browsing this website, both on an individual and aggregate basis. www.myperfectplaylist.co.uk may use both persistent and session cookies; persistent cookies remain on your computer after you close your session and until you delete them, while session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies can be removed by following your Internet browser help file directions. If you choose to disable cookies, some areas of the website may not work properly.
SHARING YOUR INFORMATION: I will not share any details with any third parties, except if required by law.
STORING YOUR INFORMATION: As this website is hosted by Weebly, Inc. (“Weebly”), any information submitted via this website’s contact form including Personal Information, may be stored through Weebly’s servers. By using this website’s contact form, you consent to Weebly’s collection, disclosure, storage, and use of your Personal Information in accordance with Weebly’s privacy policy available at https://www.weebly.com/privacy. If you’d prefer to contact me without using the contact form please email [email protected]. With regards to information provided after an initial enquiry, copies of any signed agreements relating to bookings made will be stored in an encrypted folder local to my personal devices (i.e. I do not use cloud based storage).
EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS & OPTING OUT: Based upon the Personal Information that you provide, I may communicate with you in response to your enquiries to provide the services you request and to manage your account. I will communicate with you by email or telephone, in accordance with your wishes. As this service is usually for a one-time-only event, remarketing isn’t undertaken, but I will retain information relating to correspondence and bookings placed/fulfilled for information only. If you wish for me to remove your personal information from my records, following completion of an event (or should you decide not to proceed) please email [email protected]. I reserve the right to retain any non-personal details relating to any fees paid and expenses incurred for future self assessment/accounting requirements.
